    Caleb Nei

    Keys

    Caleb Nei spends most of his evenings playing piano somewhere in the greater Northern Virginia area.

    He provides music in solo, duo, trio and quartet configurations for more than 200 events each year. A native of small-town Huntington, Indiana, he graduated from his hometown school, Huntington University, with a bachelor of arts in music with a concentration in music for the contemporary church.

    He also studied jazz piano with Dr. Robert Larson at Shenandoah University and finds great joy in elevating important events in a way only live music can.

  • Zack Williams

    Bass

    A native of Northern Virginia, Zack has been performing throughout the DMV since 2012. .

    In 2019, He graduated from George Mason University with a BA in Jazz Studies & Performance where he studied under Regan Brough, the bassist for The U.S. Army Blues.

    Since 2019 he has been the Music Director at Grace Baptist church where he leads a weekly Band, Choir, and Orchestra. Also, he can regularly be found playing various styles of music in various ensembles as a bassist, pianist/keyboardist, guitarist, percussionist/drummer, or vocalist throughout the DMV.

  • Jason Paul Curtis

    Vocals

    Jason Paul Curtis has been singing with big bands, orchestras and quartets in the DMV since 2010.

    His Spotify station has four critically-acclaimed albums covering jazz, holiday music and the new Virginia State Song. He brought his quartet, Swinglab, to the White House from 2012 to 2016 for Holidays at the White House, played the title role of Sweeney Todd with his son, Jaron, at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in 2021 and founded DC Martini with Matt Trimboli in 2022.

    He's the father of three busy kids and husband to one brilliant wife.

  • Matt Trimboli

    Guitar

    Matt Trimboli attended the Berklee College of Music and received his BA in jazz performance from William Paterson University in his native New Jersey where he studied with Vic Juris, Bucky Pizzarelli, Rufus Reid, and David Berger among other renowned faculty.

    After gigging in the NYC area for several years, including a 2-year engagement with Grammy winner Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks on guitar and tenor banjo, he moved to Northern Virginia where he freelances on guitar, bass, and banjo in jazz combos, big bands and theater orchestras.

    Since 2002, he has also been the music director and staff arranger for Swing Shift, an 18-piece big band performing throughout the DC metro area.
